The Dinosaur Run

We just returned from the first of what is sure to become an annual trip. The Dinosaur Run consisted of a 400 mile round trip ride to test our wits and skills on the infamous OR Hwy 218, which connects Shaniko and Fossil, OR.

Aside from one minor mechanical mishap early on, things went off without a problem. All bikes and riders returned tired and sweaty, but everyone and everything was in one piece. Can’t ask for much more than that.

About thelowside

A group of riders not concerned with plastic fairings or fuel injection. Vintage iron and a few pints are all we need.

Me too, man. Only a year away!

  3. This looks like a great time. If 2015 is in the cards, I hope that my FJR is in SUPERIOR riding condition so that I can keep up. The biggest issue at the moment is that I need my left paneer case rebuilt or replaced.
